The Victorious Online Shopping Experience: Why You Should Shop At Mythersea

Getting lost in the online shopping labyrinth is a little too easy. Retailers espouse buzzwords, and reviewers expose frauds. How can you trust that the product you seek is genuine and worth the investment? Where is the online retail Elysium? I found it: Mythersea. Mythersea understands that a victorious shopping experience begins with comprehending customers' wants and needs, vetting vendors to ensure high quality, and assisting anyone throughout their purchasing journey. The company made news by buying Yoox Net-a Porter from Richemont. I spoke with Aaron Alexander, Mytheresea's Vice President of Public Relations & Communications, to learn more about the company.

1. What makes Mythersea different from other luxury e-commerce platforms?

Mytheresa is a luxury e-commerce platform. As an e-commerce platform, we adhere to similar business models in the industry. Two things set us apart: we create client-centric experiences and curate with true luxury brands. We carry two hundred and fifty brands. These brands work with us to create capsules and activations. Designers engage with our clients. We form communities with our top customers and cultivate user communities. Over 40% of our business is from the top 3% of customers. Our customers are the driving force of what we do.

2. How has Mythersea evolved since its founding?

In 1987, Mythersea started as a brick-and-mortar boutique in Munich, Germany. In 2006, the company added its e-commerce platform. Five years later, Neiman Marcus Group acquired the company. Neiman Marcus understood how the brick-and-mortar presence gave them an advantage in the European market. Before Neiman Marcus filed for bankruptcy in 2021, Mythersea separated from the holding group and went public independently. We are now listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Since joining the team in 2021, I've seen exponential growth. We grew our market share from 3% to 20% of the luxury e-commerce platforms. We create iconic brand events and activations that engage and help to achieve both short-term and long-term goals. In 2024, the Mythersea acquired Yoox Net-a Porter from Richemont.

3. How does Mythersea incorporate its mission and vision into its products and services?

Every brand has its inner workings, history, and ethos. At Mythersea, we carry brands that bolster our customers' confidence. Our brand guidelines provide a springboard for customer satisfaction. We understand that the little details are essential. We believe that everything has a purpose in the design process.

4. What advice would you give to students and young professionals who want to enter this realm?

I vividly remember the summer before my junior year when I studied aboard. From that experience, I knew I wanted to work in fashion. I just didn't know how I would break into the industry. A person must be scrappy and willing to work entry-level roles to join the fashion world.

5. What is the future of the company?

We look forward to continued growth and innovative technological updates as we maintain our curated collection and cultivate customer relations.
